Dan and his business partner, Todd Swanson, joined C2 fourteen years ago looking for one thing: the freedom to pick whichever lender was best for each client.
"We just thought it was the right place for us," Dan says. "It gave us the support and the options for different lenders to ensure that we take care of our clients. Having the freedom to choose which lender we're going to go to really is important to us."

Serving the people who serve
A big part of that significance, for Dan, is the military community. Stationed in San Diego — home to Naval Special Warfare — he closes a lot of VA loans for Navy SEALs, EOD techs, SWIC boat crews, and their families.
"I'm very blessed to have a lot of friends in Naval Special Warfare — Navy SEALs, EOD guys, SWIC boat guys, and their families. Those relationships mean everything to me. Not just helping the men and women who do those jobs, but their families. I've seen the impact on their families when they're away."

"We're able to help bring financial security around their housing and their mortgage — making sure they're paying the least amount every month, so the other money can go to support their family."
