FAQ
C2 strictly focuses on doing one thing very well and that is brokering where there are no padded rate sheets. If you are coming from a ‘banking’ background, we can align you with a C2 trainer who is paid a training fee to assist you in learning how the ‘broker’ channel works in terms of shopping lenders, locking loans, issuing disclosure, etc.
Most states are paid 1099 with the proper license. Some exceptions: In CA, DFPI requires W2. Additionally, Oregon and Nevada require W2. Note: If you obtain a license (under C2) in a state outside of your home state, that may impact your pay status in your home state.
C2 is approved by approximately 100 wholesale lenders and banks. The programs cover almost every possible type of loan—Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, CalHFA, MCC, commercial, and Reverse Mortgage loans.
Not only does C2 provide support with the onboarding process we also have dedicated loan originator support specialists who can help with setting up loan originators' businesses.
There is support for everything a loan originator needs to set their business from LOS to credit, processing, to email. In addition, we have mentors available for one-on-one setup and assimilation.
Finally, the community of C2 loan originators, lender account executives, staff, and processors are encouraged to sign on to our C2 Slack instant messaging platform to share ideas on scenarios, marketing, technology, etc. With over 800 experts to collaborate with, knowledge-sharing potential is endless.
As a top broker in the nation, we obtain preferred pricing and services from the industry’s best wholesale lenders. The preferred pricing we receive gets passed directly along to the originator, and therefore the end client, the borrower. We don’t pad or splice it up in any way.
